This year-round building provides additional indoor meeting and recreation space for all to enjoy!
Expanded Gym
Two full court scrimmage-sized basketball courts or one regulation-sized court give guests more space to play. Space is configured to accommodate a variety of sports and a dividing wall allows for simultaneous activities. One group could be playing basketball while another group is playing volleyball.
Large Group Gatherings
In addition to recreation options, the gym is designed to accommodate large group gatherings. It is equipped with a stage and extensive A/V equipment. Appropriate lighting and breakout areas are available.
Meeting Rooms-The Highlands
There are two formal meeting rooms on the second floor that may each accommodate up to 75 people or may be combined to accommodate a single group of up to 150.
Indoor Climbing Wall
Our popular climbing wall experience will now also be available indoors for year-round fun. We boast two state of the art 33-foot and 27-foot high climbing wall will offer new challenges on several surfaces. Also, we have put a new bouldering wall in as well. The distinct space will allow for climbing even if the gym is in use.
Game Lounge
A designated area for informal gatherings encourages guests to relax with card tables, ping pong, carpet ball, foosball and more.
Facts about the Activity Center
- The building is used as meeting space for summer camps where campers can make all the noise they want without bothering others in the community. It also provides other kinds of meeting and recreation space year round as noted above.
- This building opens up all kinds of possibilities for new activities at Covenant Harbor including the hosting of the Central Conference Annual Meeting back in April, 2009.
- The building, located above the office and triplets, has 16,000 square feet of floor space.
