After School Climbing Program
The Geneva Lakes YMCA and Covenant Harbor have joined forces to create a great after school program! Introduce your kids to climbing safely, develop skills and agility and have fun in a productive way.
Classes are led by trained, experienced instructors at Covenant Harbor's Snake Road Adventure Center. We will use our new indoor climbing and bouldering walls located in the Jackson Family Activity Center.

Objectives
- Develop strength, agility, flexibility and balance
- Develop a love for safe climbing
- Have fun through alternative exercise and fitness related climbing activities
Skills
- Stretching & strength conditioning
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic safety practices
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic equipment use and care
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic climbing techniques
- Develop ability to climb 5.5 or greater
Program Deails:
- Age of Participants: 10-14 year old
- Minimum/Maximum per class: 5/15
- Cost: $110 for YMCA member/$135 non-member (per 8 week session)
- Time of Event: Tuesday's at 3:45-5:15 p.m.
- February 28 – April 17
