Day Camp Staff
Current High School Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors 16 and older are eligible to apply to for Covenant Harbor's Day Camp Counseling team.
Job Description
Day Camp counselors are responsible to lead a small group of day campers, build friendships, facilitate Bible discussions, lead activities, and much more. Counselors need to be enthusiastic leaders, sensitive listeners, positive role models, servants, and friends. Applicants must possess a growing and active faith in Christ and teachable heart and need to have a love for and rapport with elementary-aged children. Applicants must be recommended by pastor or church leader.
Compensation
Day Camp Counselor is a paid position and staff members will receive $210/week plus room and board (housing and food will be provided all summer).
Time commitment
Training starts June 7th and camp ends August 11th or 17th (depending on your contract). Day Camp Counselors are allowed to take one week off during the summer.
