With more than 300 miles of shoreline, fishing is a key industry. Talk with commerical fishermen and enjoy the bounty of Lake Michigan during during a traditional fish-boil; bring your camera for the fiery boil-over! Gain an appreciation for local wines and taste the fruit of the vine. Savor the smell of freshly baked pecan rolls for an on-site bakery. Explore the region's historical orchard industries, family run for generations. From cherry pies to applesauce, nothing tastes better than foods locally grown.

Art, Music and Theater in the Door Peninsula

Explore the visual, performing, and musical arts in Door County in an up close and personal venue. Attend performances at a variety of theaters such as, Peninsula Players Theatre, The American Folklore Theatre, Birch Creek Music Performance Center, or other performing venues. Pre and Post perfomance discussions provide a better understanding of the plays, music, and theatres' history.
