Trailblazer campers take Kishwauketoe to the next level. Campers spend a whole week enjoying banana boating, mountain boarding, the climbing wall and zip-line, as well as a ton of other activities. Big games, singing worship, messy games, Bible teaching and lots of laughs round out the week. |
General Info
Age Groups
Because the majority of campers register in the winter, the grade for our camp programs is based on the current (fall 2011 - spring 2012) school year. Therefore, during the summer Kishwauketoe Trailblazer summer camps will be filled with campers who have finished 2nd and 3rd grade.
Tours
There is only so much you can grasp from pictures and our website. A tour is a great way to see camp for yourself while you hear from our staff details of what camp is like. CLICK HERE to find out more about tours of Covenant Harbor.

Spending Money
At check-in you will have the opportunity to put spending money in your camper's camp store account. This money will allow them to purchase things during free time at our camp stores. There is candy, soda, water and Gatorade ranging from $.25 to $1.25. Kishwauketoe campers are limited to $3.00 per day on snacks, candy and soda. Water and Gatorade are not limited. They can also purchase souvenirs from the store. CLICK HERE to see what our store has to offer.
What NOT to Bring
Do not bring cell phones or any pets, electronic devices (including CD players, game systems, and iPods), firearms, weapons of any kind, fireworks, tobacco, alcohol or drugs.
Campers will have one opportunity to turn in their cell phones on the first night of camp. Any cell phones discovered after that point may result in immediate dismissal from the camp program.
Cabin Requests
It is great to invite your friends to come to camp with you, and we want to make it possible for your camper to be in a cabin with his/her friends. There is a spot on the registration form (Cabinmate Requests), where you can list the names of up to two other people your camper would like to be housed with. Due to the size of our cabins and our desire to form a healthy cabin community, we will not put more than three campers together in one cabin. If your group is larger than three, campers will be separated in different cabins based on first choice cabinmate requests.
Cabin/Counselor Assignments
Every camper is excited to learn what cabin they will be in and who their counselor is. That information is available during the check-in process upon arrival.
Arriving at Camp
Check-in
Check-in occurs the afternoon of the first day of camp, and specific arrival times will be given after registration. Upon arrival, our staff will greet your family and guide you through the check-in and move-in process. Kishwauketoe will officially start with a parent welcome and Kickoff at 5:00. Our staff does not assume responsibility for campers until the conclusion of the Kickoff.
Late drop off/early pick up
Late arrival or early pick up is highly discouraged and should be considered only in extreme circumstances. If you must arrive late for any reason please call our office in advance so we may prepare for your arrival. Early pick up can be arranged at check-in. We will not allow a camper to be picked up and dropped off more than once during the camp week because of the negative experience that has on other campers.
Directions
A variety of routes make Covenant Harbor accessible from any surrounding area. GPS units recognize our address as 1724 W Main St., Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. CLICK HERE for more information about directions to Covenant Harbor.

Program Highlights
Real Faith/Prime Time - Our goals of this "Bible teaching" is to introduce campers to the person of Jesus Christ. Each session is creative and age appropriate, and campers are never forced or coerced to make any decisions. These times are made very interactive with skits, singing, messy games and creative teaching methods. To learn more about the spiritual goals of our summer camp programs, CLICK HERE.
Talk Backs - We realize that all kids learn in different ways, and this is a chance for campers to do a hands-on activity and talk to their counselors about what they learned in Real Faith.
Quiet Time - This is a chance for campers to learn how to sit quietly in God's Presence. They are encouraged to write, draw or read their Bible quietly while being outside in God's beautiful creation. This time is kept especially short for our youngest campers.
Free Time - Free Time allows campers to stretch their wings and decide for themselves how they would like to spend their time. Counselors make available options known to campers and instruct each cabin group on our "buddy system" which requires campers to hang out with other campers. All activities are supervised by trained counselors and other staff.
Big Game - This is a chance for campers to run around, be crazy, and act like a kid. Whether they are trying to get chips into a bucket, pull someone's flag, or use a sponge to get the soap off the other team, it is sure to bring out a friendly competition.
