Experience Kohler: Family, Company and Community

Founded in 1873, Kohler Company has grown from making farm implements and bathtubs to a world renowned example of product design and innovation. The Village of Kohler -- first planned community in the Midwest -- exemplifies quality, excellence and old-world craftsmanship, all apparent through the beautiful garden-like resort today. In addition to background lectures, we'll take field trips to the Kohler factory, the Waelderhaus Museum and the John Michael Kohler Art Center in nearby Sheboygan. You'll hear from an artist in residence and experience Kohler through the eyes of area specialists who will share local lore of Native American mound artifacts. Other highlights include a five-diamond chef demonstration and enjoying the resort's numerous amenities.

Field trip to Kohler Factory is 2 hours in length of sustained walking and standing. Some stairs during Waelderhaus Museum visit.

This program includes a gift card loaded with a specific dollar value that can be used for some meals at any of the restaurants in the village. Some participants spread the value over all meals while others use the entire value for dinner at the fine-dining Immigrant Room restaurant.
