IMPORTANCE OF PRAYER
In order to "do anything for God," prayer is where we must begin. Prayer is what prepares the way, as well as prepares our hearts to be used by God. When planning events, when hiring staff, when dealing with day-to-day details, we seek to follow God's heart. We do this through prayer. We are not always faithful, but we seek to be.
PRAYER ALWAYS WELCOME!
Will you pray for camp? Even at this moment, would you pause for our ministry? Pray for our staff: for integrity, faithfulness, hospitality and joy. Pray for our guests: for growth, leaning, fellowship and fun. Pray for our site: for safety, for nature's role in reveling God and for facilities that do not detract for spiritual and learning experiences.
WILL YOU BE A PRAYER PARTNER?
We have a growing network of people who are committed to pray for camp at least monthly. These prayer partners receive a letter of prayer concerns and camp calendar from the chaplain. To become a prayer partner, e-mail your address (electronic or snail mail) to the chaplain at prayer@covenantharbor.org We do not post the prayer needs on the net, because we reserve the details of prayer request for those willing to commit to ongoing intercessory prayer for the camps.
