Preparations

This past week has been a week of preparing to go to Chile. One of the things we offer through the Snake Road Adventure Center is our Mission Adventure Trips. Each year we plan one or two mission trips where we serve in other parts of the world. Most of the time we have helped other camping ministries with a project.

This will be our fourth time to Chile. It is a great place (it is their summer time and the climate is like Southern California!). We have helped them build a bath house, camp manager's house, and other miscelaneous maintenance projects. This year and last year we are going to be their during their annual family camp session. This is fun because we get to work, play and eat with many Chilean people. It is a blessing to share in their ministry and build lasting relationships with these dear people.

All our Mission Adventure trips are open for non-Covenant Harbor people to join. Next year we hope to go to Alaska in June to work with a camp way out in the boondocks. Please contact us for more information.
